This workshop will start with the basics of oncology billing and coding moving into hands on coding of various chemotherapy treatments from simple to complex. Also included will be:
- HCPCS codes
- The authorization process
- Financial counselling
- Incident to billing
- Oncology documentation and compliance
- Port flush
- Appeals and denials

Fran has over 35 years of experience in practice management and oncology billing. She holds several credentials from AAPC: certified oncology coder, certified professional coder, certified auditor, certified compliance officer, and certified instructor. She also has a nursing background.
